Leading Hand or Workshop Supervisor wanted from a Diesel Fitter background for a mining rebuild workshop in N.QLD. Monday to Friday role. Ute + Bonus

The role and duties

Reporting into the operations Manager you'll be looking after a team experienced mechanics and apprentices. Based wholly off the tools, you will enjoy leading, mentoring and organising the team whilst driving a collaborative work environment. You'll also be responsible for;

• Assigning tasks to team members based on their experience
• Maintenance of relevant administrative tasks
• Assist in record keeping and coordinating warranty claims
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure the team adhere to quality standards
• Parts forecasting

Your value

You will have come from a mining or earthmoving background with previous experience leading a team. You'll also consider yourself a motivated "people focused" leader with a drive to run a thriving team and assist the team when necessary. You'll also have administrative skills to accompany daily requirements from the team. You will also have;-

• Mechanical trade qualification
• Strong administrative skills
• Experience supervising a team (Either in a leading hand or supervisor role)
• Great communication skills
• Affective time management and organisational skills.
• A strong attention to detail and quality control
