Job Title: Junior Estimator/Project Manager - Commercial Electrical Projects

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our team. This role will involve estimating the cost of commercial electrical projects and managing these projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial electrical projects, including material and labor costs.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather project information and obtain competitive quotes.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with onsite personnel to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing updates on progress, budget, and any issues or risks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in estimating and/or project management, preferably in the electrical or construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards is desirable.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
