Underground Electrician

Long term permanent role, full camp and meals + OEM training. FIFO from Perth, Busselton & Geraldton. 8:6 roster, Work on new machinery + good culture

The duties and team

Reporting into the electrical supervisor/ leading hand on site you will enjoy working in a close knit team of 1-2 electricians per crew, and be responsible for; -

• Maintenance and installs on fans, pumps, vents
• Jumbo box installs
• Drill rig servicing
• 1000v reticulation
• Leaky feeder comms maintenance
• General site electrical inc lighting and power

Roster & flights

FIFO from Perth, Busselton and Geraldton directly into site.

• 8 days on, 6 days off
• Fly in/ fly out in company time on day shift
• Charter or commercial flights (depending on where you're based)

Your skills and experience

Your 1-2+ years recent experience working as an underground shift electrician will put you in a great position with the tasks you will face in this role. Other key skill/ licenses needed;-

• Trade qualifications
• A good level of knowledge on underground drills and fixed plant (able to work autonomously)
• Excellent safety standards
• Looking for long term permanent work on a FIFO roster
