Auto Electrician

Work with a leading underground hard rock contractor with a great crew culture completing auto electrical/ maintenance work on drills, trucks, loaders

The Duties and Team

You'll enjoy integrating into a well-connected team of 6 on site with a great culture. Reporting into the leading hand and maintenance foreman on crew you will be responsible for;-

• Auto electrical & AC maintenance, servicing and breakdowns
• Installs and equipment upkeep
• Workshop and field service work
• Assisting in mechanical duties

The Mine Site and Roster

This Gold Mine offers flights from Buseelton and Perth, the mine operates as both an underground and open pit mine. The mine has a min of 20 years life left.

• Accommodation on site - Permanent En-suite rooms
• Excellent Dry Mess and well managed Wet Mess
• 2 x Gyms, Tennis courts, Basketball courts, Swimming Pool…
• Large workshop with concrete pads and overhead cranes, all under cover and shaded.

Your Skills and Experience

You will be a trade qualified auto electrician and have a minimum of 12+ months experience working mobile plant machinery - whether that be light of heavy equipment. Most importantly you will;-

• Have an eagerness to continue/ train up in the UG hard rock mining sector
• Have an excellent attitude towards work and leaning new skills
• Be a team player and enjoy working with likeminded individuals
• Have the ability to work autonomously and willingness to "have a go"
• Prioritises safety and a number one
