The mine site

Located in Orange in central NSW, this large UG hard rock mine supports the careers of up to 700 people in the local vicinity. The mine production division at site offers; -

• 7:7 roster - days/ nights (12-hour shifts)
• The chance to upskill on modern UG mining machinery
• A well-connected team culture, that believes in support and training
• A wide range of training and development options
• Option to DIDO, FIFO or relocate to Orange and sleep in your own bed each night

Accommodation & meals

For those DIDO or FIFO accommodation and meals will be provided at a camp facility 20 minutes from the mine site;-

• BIBO before and after each shift (provided by the company)
• Large rooms with en suite facilities (you'll have your own room to return to each swing, not shared)
• Excellent standard of food with a good spread each day for crib

Moving to central NSW (for those keen to relocate)

The role

Reporting to the shift boss on your crew you will enjoy working as a production charge up operator working with Normet charge wagons and Oracle Hypercharge units. Working in a close knit team you will be involved with;-

• Production charge up operations
• Working with Normet charge wagons and Oracle Hypercharge units
• Development bogger operations (when there is downtime from charge up duties)
• Working to production targets

Your skills and experience

You will come from a background working as a charge up operator in an UG hard rock mine. Your previous experience working with Oracle Hypercharge units will put you in a great position with the tasks you face. You will also have;

• NSW open BEUL
• Have strong UG hard rock mining experience
• Production and or development charge up experience
• Bogger operations experience (highly regarded)
• Excellent safety record and attitude towards safety
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
• NSW drivers license
