Practices Thomson Rossi and Brown Falconer have released the design for the new $84 million public high school set for Adelaide. As there are growing demands for more public schooling in the South-Australian state, this project is set to be completed and ready for intake in 2023.

Catering to 1,200 students from year 7 to year 12, Morialta Secondary College will be evolved from soon-to-be-demolished Norwood Morialta High School Middle Campus in the state’s north-eastern suburbs.

The public school will include a new performing arts centre, a gymnasium, a library, a gallery, a school café, sports courts and indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Contemporary learning facilities are set to be designed with the student’s environment in mind.

The architectural concept has been described as ‘truly impressive’ and Local MP Vincent Tarzia says that Morialta Secondary College will be an exciting milestone for the city’s community.
