A significant milestone for Sydney’s Upper North Shore has been announced, with Capital Corporation confirming Dasco as the builder for the first 128 apartments in its $1.5 billion Wahroonga Estate development.
This will mark the first collaboration between the two companies, with Dasco set to bring its award-winning expertise to the project. Known for delivering the acclaimed East Village development in Zetland and maintaining a 4.5-star iCIRT rating for three consecutive years, Dasco has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability.
Construction is scheduled to commence within the coming months, with completion expected by late 2027. The Residences will form part of the broader 31.4-hectare masterplan, which centres on an integrated health precinct anchored by Sydney Adventist Hospital, the largest private hospital in NSW with more than 700 beds.
Stage one will feature three six-storey buildings offering one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments. The design blends lifestyle and wellbeing, with amenities such as a dedicated dog wash bay, landscaped barbecue areas, and pathways connecting to the neighbouring Coups Creek bushland. In a unique wellness offering, 47 apartments will include infrared saunas through a partnership with Kiva Wellness.
The masterplan has already delivered substantial infrastructure upgrades. These include the hospital’s expansion to 90,000 square metres, a new hospital entry intersection, the relocation and expansion of Wahroonga Adventist School, and the completion of the Parkway San Clinic. Future stages will bring a new high school, retail spaces, medical suites, and 15,000 square metres of student and key worker accommodation.
For Dasco, this represents the largest project it has undertaken on the Upper North Shore, adding to its portfolio of developments across Willoughby, St Leonards, Frenchs Forest and Roseville.
For the construction industry, Wahroonga Estate offers strong potential for long-term employment and supplier engagement, with opportunities across residential building, civil works, landscaping, and specialist health-related facilities. With its combination of quality housing, wellness features, and community infrastructure, the project is set to create a vibrant, connected precinct that serves residents, workers, and visitors alike.
The start of The Residences signals the next chapter in a masterplan designed to enhance both lifestyle and liveability in one of Sydney’s most sought-after regions.
