The Role
Working within a modern OEM workshop, you'll be responsible for the assembly, pre-delivery, and commissioning of underground drill rigs and load & haul equipment before they head out to site.
Day-to-day, you'll be involved in:
- Pre-delivery assembly and fit-out of new underground drills and load & haul machines
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fitment to OEM specifications
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and rectification during build and testing phases
- Commissioning, testing, and quality checks to ensure equipment is site-ready
- Assisting with component change-outs, rebuilds, and general workshop maintenance
- Working closely with technical teams to ensure builds meet OEM and client standards
What You'll Need
- Mechanical trade qualification OR relevant workshop experience
- Entry-level, experienced or dual-trade backgrounds considered
- Exposure to mobile plant, underground equipment or heavy vehicles highly regarded
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Pride in producing high-quality, compliant work
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A
