DIDO / Relocation Options

This role is offered on a DIDO basis, making it ideal for candidates based in regional Victoria or the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

• DIDO each swing (no FIFO required)
• Temporary accommodation provided (up to 12 weeks) for relocation
• Support to transition into the Bendigo region long-term
• Residential / DIDO candidates must live within 50 minutes of site

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll join a tight-knit team of mobile plant tradespeople working across both workshop and (once trained) field environments.

Duties will include:

• Workshop maintenance - servicing, repairs, component change-outs
• Preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems
• Field service work (once competent) - breakdowns and on-site support

Equipment:
UG mining trucks, loaders (boggers), drills, ITs, charge-up equipment, spray rigs

The Roster

• 7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off
• Wednesday to Tuesday rotation
• 12-hour shifts

Your Value

This role is ideal for someone looking to step into mining from a background in mobile plant.

You'll bring:

• Trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic)
• Experience working on mobile plant equipment (essential)
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems
• Background in heavy vehicles, earthmoving, agriculture or similar
• A genuine interest in moving into the mining industry
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
