I have multiple opportunities available with a leading mining principal and global OEM in N.QLD with site-based maintenance and field service roles supporting underground hard rock operations.

Whether you're looking for a workshop/site-based role or something more field service focused, there are options to suit different experience levels and lifestyles.

• Exposure to both underground and surface mining equipment working across a mix of OEM and underground / earthmoving fleets

The Role (Multiple Opportunities)

These roles sit across both site maintenance teams and field service positions, working on a range of heavy mining equipment across North QLD operations. Depending on the role, you will be:

• Servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy mobile plant
• Breakdown response and preventative maintenance
• Field service work across multiple mine sites or projects
• Component change-outs and fault finding (mechanical & hydraulics)
• Working on OEM equipment including Sandvik, CAT, Normet, and more
• A mix of underground-focused work, with some surface exposure

Travel & Roster

This role offers a structured yet flexible work schedule with the following:

• FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville with charter and commercial flights provided.
• Short bus transfer from the airport to site.
• 8:6 or 2:2 roster across days and nights or just dayshift (role dependent)
• Full camp accommodation and meals included with all roles

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in these roles you need to be:

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / HD Mechanic or an experience LV mechanic on heavy vehicles
• Experience on mining or civil / heavy earthmoving equipment
• Underground experience is highly regarded but not essential for all roles
• Strong fault-finding ability and hands-on approach
• Safety-focused with a team-oriented mindset
