The mine & roster

Located in western Tasmania, this hard rock mine site is supported by a comfortable and well-equipped mining camp with a high standard of meals on offer. The roster includes;

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• 12 hours shifts (6am/ pm - 6am/ pm)

The role

Reporting into the maintenance leading hand on your crew you will enjoy working in a crew of experienced tradespeople on a fixed plant facility on an operational mine site. Your duties will include;

• Servicing, scheduled maintenance, general repairs, fault finding and diagnostics, problem solving plus shutdown maintenance work
• Equipment - gearboxes, conveyors, screens, balls mills, crushers, motors etc.

Your skills and experience

You will come from a mechanical trade background and have experience working on fixed plant process systems. You'll come armed with;

• An excellent attitude towards work
• Team player and can work autonomously and in a team
• Knowledge of fixed plant process plants - essential
• Mining experience is highly regarded however not essential
• Passion for delivering high equity results
• Safety first mentality
