  • Residential workshop role close to home so you get to enjoy going home each night
  • No prior mining experience required and offered a pathway into the industry
  • Structured, consistent work with clear systems and procedures with a strong focus on safety, quality, and consistency
  • Competitive pay and long-term opportunity with a stable business and steady work pipeline

  • Stable pipeline of work and potential pathways into long-term or permanent roles

The Role

Working as part of a skilled trades team, you will be preparing and modifying new equipment heading to site. The workshop is well organised, clean, and majority of work completed indoors. Day-to-day will include:

  • Fabrication and welding of brackets, guards, and structural components to site standard
  • Installation of safety and site-specific equipment
  • Working from drawings, job packs, and standard procedures
  • Completing quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
  • Assisting with general workshop tasks as required

The Roster and Work Hours

This role offers reliable hours and flexibility, making it a great fit for anyone looking for steady work and a solid work-life balance.

  • 10-hour shifts with paid breaks built into the day
  • Choice of either a Monday-Thursday roster or a Monday-Friday roster
  • Early starts available once you're trained and settled into the role
  • Fully residential workshop with easy access and plenty of on-site parking
  • Consistent workload with no site travel or FIFO requirements
