Tier 1 contractor seeking an experienced supervisor for major commercial and high-rise residential projects
We are a well-established Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering large-scale commercial and high-rise residential projects across Australia. With a strong pipeline of work on EBA sites, we are recognised for our professionalism, safety-first culture, and ability to deliver complex electrical packages on major developments.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our delivery team on projects located on the Gold Coast. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, supervising electrical works on major commercial and high-rise residential projects operating under EBA conditions.
This role requires strong leadership, union site experience, and the ability to manage multiple work fronts while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality.
Supervise daily electrical site activities on EBA commercial and high-rise residential projects
Lead and manage direct labour and subcontractors in a unionised environment
Coordinate materials, plant, and resources to meet construction programmes
Ensure compliance with project documentation, Australian Standards, NCC, and Queensland electrical legislation
Drive productivity while adhering to EBA conditions and site agreements
Maintain high standards of WHS and environmental compliance
Conduct toolbox talks, pre-starts, and site inductions
Liaise with Project Managers, builders, consultants, and union representatives
Oversee quality control, inspections, commissioning support, and defect management
Assist with short-term planning, look-aheads, and progress reporting
Demonstrated experience as a Project Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or Senior Leading Hand within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 electrical contractor
Proven experience working on EBA / union sites
Strong background in commercial and/or high-rise residential electrical projects
Current QLD Electrical Mechanic Licence (A-Grade) or ability to obtain one
Current QLD White Card
Sound knowledge of Queensland Electrical Safety Act, Electrical Safety Regulation, and relevant Australian Standards
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction programmes
Proactive, organised, and capable of managing pressure on large, fast-paced projects
Secure, long-term role with a Tier 1 electrical contractor
