About the Role
Join a high-performing underground mining team as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic at a new project within an established Gold Mine in WA. Work on a modern fleet of Sandvik drills, loaders, trucks, and ancillary equipment. Flexible FIFO rosters, excellent camp facilities, and long-term career growth await.
Responsibilities
Scheduled and preventative maintenance, major component change-outs, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs.
Workshop and field service duties including breakdowns and drill servicing.
Maintain high-quality workmanship, safety standards, and team collaboration.
Work autonomously and as part of a skilled maintenance crew.
What You Bring
Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or LV trade with relevant experience).
Strong mechanical knowledge; some electrical systems experience preferred.
Ability to read schematics and drawings.
"Can do" attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Advantageous: UG hard rock mining experience, drill servicing, dual diesel/auto trade.
