A global underground mining OEM is expanding its Kenwick-based rebuild workshop and is seeking experienced Underground Component Rebuild Technicians to join a dedicated rebuild team supporting major WA underground mining operations.

This is a 100% workshop-based role, focused purely on high-quality strip, assess and rebuild work in a clean, structured OEM environment - backed by the right tooling, procedures and experienced trades.

The Opportunity

Lock in a stable, long-term workshop position close to home, rebuilding high-end underground components for a global OEM supplying WA's major underground sites.

  • $55.00 - $65.00 per hour + super
  • Ongoing, stable role, Monday to Friday with guaranteed workshop hours
  • Kenwick location - home every night
  • No FIFO, no site work, no night shift
  • OEM tooling, structured rebuild bays & clean workspace

  • Clear progression pathways into Senior Rebuild / Leading Hand roles

The Role

You'll be hands-on rebuilding underground components within a purpose-built OEM rebuild facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strip, assess, rebuild and test underground components
  • Component rebuilds across:
    • Drifters & rock drills
    • Feeds & booms
    • Rod changers
    • Cylinders, cradles & rotation units
  • Diagnostics, fault-finding and quality inspections
  • Rebuilds completed to OEM specifications and tolerances
  • Working as part of a skilled, safety-driven rebuild team

What You'll Need

  • Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant trade qualification
  • Solid underground component rebuild experience
    (hard-rock mining equipment preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Pride in high-quality, compliant rebuild work
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A
