The role
Reporting into the leading hand on your crew you will enjoy working in a team of experienced OEM tradespeople that have a world of knowledge on the equipment. With a wide range of support to get you going and confident with the task ahead, you'll enjoy the following tasks;-
- Lineboreing and machiniest work working with lathes, lineborers, metal cutting tools, welding equipment
- Reconditioning bores and other components for earthmoving equipment
- Machinery - mining, civil and forestry excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, trucks, compactors, pavers (and more …)
Your value and experience
You will have come from a Certificate III trade qualification in fitting and turning/ mechanical fitting or machinist work. Your previous experience working on heavy vehicles or earthmoving equipment in a workshop setting will be highly advantageous with the tasks you face. Your will also;-
- Be able to work in a team and autonomously
- Capable of working on projects autonomously
- Have an excellent attitude toward work and producing quality results
- High level of workmanship
- Safety stands as a priority
