Senior Safety Coordinator needed for major commercial projects. Lead site safety, drive culture and support large-scale project delivery.
A leading commercial builder delivering large scale projects is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Coordinator to support safety performance across large, complex construction sites. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure safe delivery and maintain strong safety culture on-site.
Maintain and implement project safety plans and risk controls.
Conduct site inspections, audits and incident reviews.
Deliver site inductions and targeted safety training.
Partner with subcontractors and internal teams to uphold safety standards.
Analyse safety data and provide clear reporting.
Manage corrective actions and support continuous improvement.
Lead toolbox talks, safety committees and engagement activities.
Must have safety experience with a commercial builder delivering large-scale projects (essential).
Cert IV in WHS (required); further WHS or environmental qualifications beneficial.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and investigations.
Confident working within ISO systems and FSC requirements.
Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Organised, analytical and effective in fast-paced project environments.
