Underground Drill Fitter - Goldfields Region, WA - FIFO & Live Close to town

Location: Boulder, Kalgoorlie, WA
Roster: 2:2 (7 Nights / 7 Days / 2 weeks off)
Pay: $80-$90/hr casual, + Super + 1 hour additional pay for travel time from camp to Mine Site

Marble are working with a globally recognised mining contractor, and we're seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join their underground hard-rock mining team at and Underground Gold Mine Site in the Goldfields Region. This is your chance to work on modern Sandvik equipment in a supportive, team-focused environment - with the opportunity to move into a permanent role after a short temp period.

What You'll Do

• Workshop maintenance: PMs, scheduled maintenance, component change outs, general repairs, fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdowns

• Field service: drill servicing, breakdowns, troubleshooting, and problem solving

• Work with some of the newest underground mobile fleet in WA (all machinery <5 years old)

• Learn and upskill with OEM training and in-house technical programs

Machinery You'll Work On:

• Sandvik DD421, DL421-15C, DL432i-9C

• Sandvik LH517i & TH663i

• Normet MC605 - Emulsion

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Trade-qualified in diesel/mechanical

• Underground Drill servicing experience

• Ability to read schematics and drawings

Advantageous:

• Underground hard-rock mining experience

• Dual trade diesel fitter / auto electrician
