The role
Reporting into the leading hand on your crew you will enjoy working in a team of experienced OEM fitters that have a world of knowledge on the equipment. With a wide range of support to get you going and confident with your duties, you'll enjoy the following tasks;-
- Preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, servicing, machinery upgrades, rebuilds, machine overhauls, major component change outs and pre-delivery work
- Machinery - mining, civil and forestry excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, trucks, compactors, pavers (and more …)
Your value and experience
You will have come from a Certificate III mechanical trade qualification, diesel preferred however not essential. Your previous experience working on heavy vehicles or earthmoving equipment in a workshop setting will be highly advantageous with the tasks you face. Your will also;-
- Be able to work in a team and autonomously
- Capable with diagnostics, fault finding and problem solving
- Have an excellent attitude toward work and producing quality results
- Safety stands as a priority
- Able to interpret schematics and drawings (highly regarded)
- OEM training (highly regarded)
