The Site & Working Environment

You'll be joining a stable quarry operation supported by a proactive maintenance team and a highly organised workshop.

The site provides:

• A well-maintained work environment with strong safety systems
• Variety across workshop and field servicing
• Regular team engagement and a supportive leadership group

The Role & Duties

As a Mobile Equipment Serviceman, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and daily readiness of the quarry's mobile fleet.

Your duties include:

• Routine servicing tasks, refuelling, greasing, fluid checks and basic repairs
• Completing daily pre-start inspections and identifying any mechanical issues
• Supporting tradespeople with preventative maintenance and general repair work
• Maintaining a tidy workshop and yard
• Reporting hazards, defects or maintenance concerns

Equipment exposure includes:
A variety of earthmoving machinery, mobile plant, crushing equipment and service vehicles commonly used across quarrying and heavy industry.

Roster & Pay

• Monday to Friday - 5:2 roster
• 6:00am-4:30pm (50-hour week)
• Overtime available and paid at penalty rates
• Long term job security on a contract that will offer permanency after 6 months on contract
• $39.20ph- $42.56ph + super (6-month contract via Marble)
• $35.00ph -$38.00ph + super + annual leave and sick leave (permanent with the company)

Your Value

You'll bring a practical mechanical mindset and a willingness to work hands-on in an outdoor environment.

Required:

• Mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools
• Mechanical trade training or industry experience (LV preferred)
• Manual driver's licence
• Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather
• Able to complete a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

Highly Regarded (not essential):

• Forklift or HR licence
• Background in quarrying, mining, civil or heavy industry
