Factory Foreman

Factory foreman opportunities for experienced leading hands and factory supervisors in the joinery space.

We are currently working on behalf of a number of cabinetry & shopfitting businesses looking for a factory foreman on the North side of Brisbane.

All of which are medium-sized manufacturing factories specialising in high-quality, custom joinery.

The role would be a key leadership role in managing the daily operations of the factory floor and factory team. This position oversees production workflow, ensures projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, and provides hands-on support and guidance to tradespeople and apprentices.

About You

• Qualified cabinet maker with trade certification
• Experience as a Factory Foreman (highly regarded)
• Proven experience as a Leading Hand or in a supervisory role (essential)
• Strong problem-solving ability and confidence working to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and foster a positive team culture
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive approach
• Motivated to learn, open to feedback, and committed to growing your career within the industry

Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee day-to-day factory operations and production workflow
• Work hands-on when needed to support younger tradespeople and apprentices
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and to company quality standards
• Lead, manage, and motivate the factory team
• Conduct equipment and machinery maintenance
• Provide daily reporting and updates to production management
