Junior Estimator – Shopfitting & Retail

We are partnering with a Premier National Fit-Out Contractor renowned for transforming commercial spaces into stunning, award-winning destinations. Given some significant growth, they are seeking a junior estimator who is ready to move off the tools or take the next step in their career.

The Role:

You'll be the critical first step in turning design concepts into reality, helping secure fantastic shopfitting projects by ensuring costs are sharp, accurate, and competitive. Day to day duties include:

• Rigorously review plans and specifications to interpret project requirements.

• Generate precise quantity take-offs and essential Bills of Quantities

• Directly assist in preparing competitive quotes and high-quality tender submissions.

• Work closely with the Production, Drafting, Procurement, and Project delivery teams.

• Commit to learning and mastering our internal pricing models, specialized materials, and supply chain.

• Actively contribute ideas to streamline and improve estimating workflows and processes

The successful candidate will have:

• A Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field-or equivalent hands-on experience that proves you're ready!

• 1-2 years of construction exposure. Experience in joinery estimating or cabinet manufacturing environments is highly regarded.

• Exposure to an estimation software or a good understanding of Excel

• A massive appetite for learning, an eagle eye for detail, and a burning desire to succeed in commercial fit-outs.

• A positive, can-do attitude. You thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment!
