The mine site and roster

With an excellent relationship with the principal miner and working with a long term contract on site, you'll enjoy the following benefits;-

• 8:6 roster - mostly dayshift only
• FIFO from Adelaide direct to site
• FIFO on day 1 and day 8 - all in company time
• Excellent camp facilities and high quality meals provided

The duties and team

You'll enjoy integrating into a well-connected team on site with a great culture. Reporting into the supervisor on your crew, you will be responsible for;-

• Working environment - UG workshop and field
• Duties - Servicing, general maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving
• Machinery - Raisebore drills

Your skills and experience

You will be a trade qualified diesel mechanic and have a minimum of 2 years recent experience working mobile plant machinery - whether that be mining, civil or Ag equipment. Experience on drills including Raisebore drill will be highly regarded, however not essential. You will also;-

• Have an eagerness to continue/ train up in the UG hard rock mining sector
• Have an excellent attitude towards work and leaning new skills
• Be a team player and enjoy working with likeminded individuals
• Have the ability to work autonomously and willingness to "have a go"
• Prioritises safety and a number one
