The role
Reporting into Warehouse and Spare Parts Supervisor the on your crew and working in a team of 4 other store people, you'll be part of a close-knit team working in the site store facility. Your duties will include;-
- Picking, packing and dispatching of all orders
- Updating inventory management systems
- Operate forklift and other machinery in line with HSE policies
- Sorting and arranging incoming and outgoing stock
- Working between two warehouses, one for production and one for the sales department
- Maintenance of store place and cleanliness
The hours, roster and overtime
- Standard hours are 38-hour weeks (no weekend work required)
- Monday - Friday - 7.00am to 3.30pm OR 8.00 to 4.00pm
- Overtime is regularly available
Your skills and experience
You'll come to the role with previous experience as a store person, however what will make you excel in this role is your attitude and the desire to forward your skills in an environment where quality, efficiency and safety is paramount. You'll also have;-
- A forklift license + driver's license (essential)
- Experience with recipting, dispatching and warehouse maintenance administation using an ERP system is essental (MD Dynamics D365 is highly regarded)
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Proficient with MS Office
- Certificate in Logistics and / or Warehousing (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working in mining or the heavy industry is highly desired
