About the Role
We're seeking a skilled All-Round Carpenter to join a busy residential construction team in Albany. This hands-on role covers all aspects of carpentry, including first fix, second fix, and maintenance work on residential homes. If you're versatile, reliable, and take pride in high-quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Perform first fix carpentry: framing, structural work, and site preparation
Complete second fix carpentry: doors, skirting, cabinets, and finishing work
Undertake maintenance and repairs on residential properties
Read plans, work accurately to specifications, and follow safety procedures
Collaborate with team members and maintain a clean, safe worksite
What We're Looking For
✅ Proven experience in residential carpentry (first fix, second fix, and maintenance)
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
✅ Trade qualification or equivalent experience
✅ Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices
