This is a great opportunity to secure a 7:7 DIDO roster to well established UG mine site in western Tasmania. You will enjoy full job security and the opportunity to further your skills on UG ground support mining equipment.

- $75.00ph-$80.00ph + super

Roster & hours
- 7:7 roster - days and nights
- Thursday/ Wednesday rosters patters
- Days - 6:30am - 6:30pm / Nights - 6:30pm - 6:30am
The role and duties
You will enjoy leading a team of specialist tradespeople working on a wide range of UG mining equipment in the workshop and the field. Your duties will include;-
- 40-50% on the tools & technically directing/ coaching and mentoring
- 50-60% managment involving planning and scheduling of work
- Machinery - Sandvik Cablebolters, Normet Shotcreters, Volvo Loaders and light vehicles.
Your value
- Leading hand or supervision experience
- Trade qualifications in automotive or heavy diesel
- Previous experience working on UG hard rock mining machinery
- High level of skill performing diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work autonomously and attend to breakdowns
- Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance & pass a pre-employment medical
