An exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced HVAC Technician to join a highly respected organisation that supports some of Australia's most advanced data centre operations. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects within the critical infrastructure sector, delivering high-performance climate control solutions across Tier-One environments.
You'll join a specialist team focused on maintaining and optimising precision cooling systems used to support data centres across the Sydney metro area.
The Role:
- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot CRAC/CRAH units, chilled water systems, and associated HVAC equipment in data centre environments (BMS, controls, and computer room units)
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance to manufacturer and industry standards
- Diagnose faults and deliver responsive solutions to maintain optimal cooling and airflow
- Engage directly with site personnel, clients, and facility managers to report findings and ensure compliance
- Work with BMS (Building Management Systems) and remote monitoring systems
- Participate in an on-call rotation (with overtime and allowances)
What You'll Bring:
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- ARCTick Licence (Refrigerant Handling Licence)
- Experience working in data centres, critical infrastructure, or complex HVAC environments
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical fault-finding
- Strong communication skills and a professional, safety-first approach
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Ability to obtain baseline security clearances if required
