Factory Foreman

Opportunity for an experienced team leader / factory foreman from a cabinet making background, to join a family orientated business in North Brisbane.

Overseeing all manufacturing and leading a talented and dynamic team of around 10 tradesmen.

About you:

• Trade qualified cabinet maker with experience as a supervisor / team leader (essential)
• Experience as a factory foreman (advantageous)
• Problem solver and ability to work within deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to be able to motivate the team and create a positive working environment.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Must be motivated to learning, receptive to feedback and passionate about progressing your career in the industry.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee the day-to-day factory operations and production processes
• Work semi on the tools where required to assist younger tradesmen and apprentices.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
• Manage and motivate the factory team.
• Maintenance and stock take of equipment and machinery.
• Daily reporting into production management.
