The Camp
Based in the heartland of South Australian mining, the camp features very modern facilities with a quality canteen and further inclusions planned for the future. The site currently has;
- Modern rooms with air conditioning and wifi
- Good quality and consistent standard of meals included
- Clean camp site with large array of facilities & activities
The Roster
2/2 roster (a week of days / week of nights), the travel would consist of the below;
- Fly into site Tuesday morning from Adelaide typically (Port Augusta optional) - 12-hour shifts
- Arrive back in Adelaide around mid-afternoon Monday for R&R
The Role
Your position as a Boilermaker will see you working in the above ground workshop largely, machinery consisting of a fleet of Sandvik trucks, boggers, cable bolters and development drills plus more.
- Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance - welding and fabricating
- work consisting mostly of bucket repairs, body, railing & frame work
- Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Your Value
The ideal candidate will come from a heavy, civil or agricultural background;
- 1-2 years minimum post trade - boilermaker qualifications and heavy experience
- Able to adapt to various conditions & environments
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence + able to obtain a National Police Check within 3 months
- Strong safety showing and track record of minimising downtime for machinery
- Working independently and within a team environment
