UG Shift Electrician N.QLD. FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns. 8:6 roster. Full camp and meals.

The duties and team

Reporting into the electrical supervisor on site you will enjoy working in an autonomous role where you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and installs on fans, pumps, vents

• Jumbo box installs

• Drill rig servicing

• 1000v reticulation

• Leaky feeder comms maintenance

• General site electrical inc lighting and power

• Auto mine installs

The site and FIFO

This UG hard rock mine is located in N.QLD, in the Mt Isa region. It offers;-

• Attractive, modern camp set up with good facilities (gym, wet mess etc)

• The camp is close to the mine, so limited travel in and out

• A high standard of food and quality canteen

• 2:2 roster where you'll fly in on company time and out on your time

Your skills and experience

You will have 2-3+ years recent experience working as an underground shift electrician, as well as;-

• Trade qualifications

• Have a good understanding of underground systems and able to work autonomously in a crew of 1

• Excellent safety standards

• Looking for long term permanent work on a FIFO roster
