An incredible opportunity awaits for an experienced joinery coordinator!
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to assist a Senior PM in a fantastic commercial joinery business. Coordination is all about working with a team to manage the safe, profitable, timely and quality delivery of projects. You'll have plenty of opportunities for technical training and this is a role that could result in progression to Project Management for the right candidate.
About the Role:
- Support the Senior Project Manager with project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, minutes, and variation orders.
- Maintain organized project files and databases for easy team access to information.
- Track project correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing client presentations and reports as needed.
- Monitor project progress against the schedule and proactively communicate potential issues.
- Help coordinate internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery.
- Serve as a central contact for project inquiries, escalating complex issues.
- Organize and attend project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes.
- Help document and resolve any quality issues or defects.
Most importantly - About You:
- Proven experience in a comparable project support role.
- Solid understanding of project administration/management within the construction sector (joinery packages highly regarded)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Contracts Management experience desired
- Proficient in interpreting specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability.
- Great orgnaisational skills, ability to problem solve and be forward thinking.
- Competent in MS Office Suite, including Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Trade experience highly desired but not essential.
