Exciting opportunity for a heavy diesel fitter to join a growing team on a permanent basis. Working on a range of mobile plant machinery. Regular OT!

• Up to $60ph + super (depending on skills and experience)
• Monday-Friday roster 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Working on a range machinery - heavy earth moving gear, trucks, light vehicles and Hirail equipment.

• Regular operating OT available (for anyone who holds a HR licence)

Roster and hours

You will work a Monday - Friday roster working 7:00am - 3:30pm each day. There will also be adhoc overtime available on occasion over the weekend and before/after weekday shifts. OT is available both as a fitter and in an operator position.

The role

As a highly skilled diesel fitter, you'll be responsible for servicing, rebuilds and preventative maintenance on a range of heavy earth moving and hirail machinery. All of your work will be completed in a well-equipped workshop.

• Mechanical fault finding, preventative maintenance and rebuilds on a range of machinery.
• Machinery includes Hirail Trucks, Telehandlers, Access Equipment, Excavators, and Light Vehicles.
• Monday - Friday position.
• Training and development on offer for anyone new to the hirail industry.
• Permanent position from day 1. 4 weeks annual leave and sick days.

Your value

You will be a highly skilled trade qualified diesel fitter with well-rounded knowledge on heavy earth moving mobile plant.

• Mechanical trade qualification
• Excellent hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
• An excellent attitude towards work with proven ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
• Experience on machinery rebuilds
• Proven ability on Hirail machinery (highly advantageous)
