About the Company

Our Client has been operating for over 15 years within the insurance and restoration space. Specialising in insurance repair services, restoration and construction across eastern Australia and pride themselves on delivering a high-quality service through communication, reliability and professionalism to their clients on a daily basis.

We are looking to bring on an additional Project Manager, ideally a qualified carpenter who has previous experience working with an insurance builder.

They are a growing business in NSW with a team of Project Managers, plus an administration team. They are looking to hire additional Project Managers in NSW due to their recent growth, and you will be supported by the National Construction Manager.

They have a supportive team across NSW and all of their states, provide a high-level of service to all of their clients and customers, whilst ensuring their team is heavily supported.

Projects would be anything from fire damage, flood and water damage, heritage restoration and more.

About the Role

Project Managers role which will be based across the Sydney region (Cronulla, Inner West, Parramatta, Merrylands, Northern Beaches).

This hybrid role offers flexbility to work from home, the local office and while visiting sites as required.

Duties will include:

• Oversee around 50-60 projects at any one time, however, only be required to manage the construction component of the job.
• Liaising with trades and sub-contractors
• Scheduling
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• The reporting and estimating is handled by an internal team.
• You will report into the Construction Manager and be supported by the office, with the flexibility to work either at home or in the office as much as possible.
• Projects could range anywhere from $5K - $50K.

What You Need

• Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
• Cert IV in Building and Construction is not essential but desirable
• Atleast 6 months experience working in the Insurance Building space
• Local trade experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed orientated and a strong understanding of the NCC & BCA
• Current driver's license
