The mine site and roster

With an excellent relationship with the principal miner and working with a long contract on site the contactor offers the following rosters;-

• 8:6 - day shift only - FIFO from Perth
• 2:2 - days and nights - FIFO from Perth (interstate options considered)
• 2:1 roster - days and nights - FIFO Perth
• Camp accommodation and meals provided
• FIFO in company time (50% of the time)

The duties and team

You'll enjoy integrating into a well-connected team on site with a great culture. Reporting into the leading hand on crew you will be responsible for;-

• Diesel mechanical maintenance, servicing and breakdowns
• Workshop and field service work
• Machinery - Sandvik drills

Your skills and experience

You will be a trade qualified light vehicle or diesel mechanic and have a minimum of 12 months working in the UG hard rock mining sector. You will also;-

• Capable of working throughout the workshop and field
• Knowledge of Sandvik UG drill equipment
• Have an eagerness to continue developing in the UG hard rock mining sector
• Have an excellent attitude towards work and leaning new skills
• Be a team player and enjoy working with likeminded individuals
• Have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Prioritises safety and a number one
