The Company

For over 30 years, this company have built a reputation, specialising in creating custom built kitchens for customers both residential homes and commercial projects.

They are a small to medium sized team but ever growing and expanding with their continued success.

The Role

  • Lead and inspire the team with effective leadership, clear communication, and regular feedback to meet production goals, boost productivity and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure that both individual and team KPI's for quality, safety, productivity and efficiency are sustained.
  • Offer support and development for employees.
  • Develop and enhance systems & procedures to encourage ongoing improvement within the business.
  • Work closely with management and sales team. Oversee a team of over 20 employees, with 4 senior staff reporting directly to you.
  • Participate in regular meetings, daily huddles and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure smooth running and transition between project stages (check measures, drafting, purchasing, production, installation etc)
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

About You

  • Experience in cabinet making or related industry.
  • Experience managing teams, including facilitating employee training and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and implement new and improved processes.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven track record with hitting KPI's.
  • Strong communication skills - ability to liaise with customers, trades and suppliers.
  • Ability to multi-task and have a strong focus on organisation and time management.
  • Understanding of health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and tracking progress.
