The role

As a workshop diesel fitter you will be responsible for maintenance, component changeouts, upgrades and rebuilding of a broad range of equipment in their workshop, including;

• UG trucks and loaders
• Drills - Jumbo, long hole and cablebolt drills (mainly Sandvik)
• IT's
• Light vehicles
• Charge up and spray equipment
• Ancillary equipment - generators, lighting plant, light trucks

The workshop

Located at Eagle Farm this large maintenance facility is well equipped and has the capacity and capability for all realms of machinery maintenance from;-

• Full rebuilds to servicing & machinery assembly
• Heavy fabrication
• Fitting & turning work

• Supported by a large well-equipped stores

Your value

You will be a trade qualified diesel fitter and have experience working on earthmoving equipment. You will also;-

• Have a strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and ideally rebuilds
• Earthmoving maintenance experience (highly regarded but not essential)

• High level of detail and ability to deliver quality work
• Team player and a great attitude towards work
