The FIFO 8:6 Roster

Great opportunity to secure a role on an 8:6 roster where you'll get paid full days for your travel in and out.

• FIFO from Brisbane, Townville, or Cairns to Mt isa
• 8:6 roster - mostly day shift with some night shifts where needed
• Wednesday to Wednesday roster
• Work on a range of equipment across various sites

The role

Reporting to the field service coordinator and the site maintenance foreman you will enjoy working in a varied roster across a number of sites in N.QLD. Duties will include;-

• OEM work - Warranty work, product support, fault fining & diagnostics, machinery availability (day shift only 70% of the work)
• Labour hire - work on other brands of equipment, workshop and field where directed (days and nights 30% of the work)
• Work across sites in Mt Isa and within a 2-3 hour drive
• Fully equipped modern field service ute

Your value

You will have come from a trade qualified background and have strong experience working on underground hard rock mining equipment.

• Minimum of 4+ recent years working in UG hard rock mining, primarily on underground Boggers, Trucks and Drills
• Breakdowns and first response problem solving skills
• Strong drill rig knowledge (highly regarded)
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety
