My client is a leading electrical contracting company operating across Australia, and are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Sydney. They work across a wide range of projects which include commercial, educational, health care, industrial & more. They are open to anyone with any level of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and health infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimates
• Analyse and interpret project specifications, drawings, and tender documents
• Identify potential risks and opportunities for value engineering
• Review and assess subcontractor quotes and proposals
• Prepare and submit tender packages to clients

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the electrical contracting industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and construction methods
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes, including the National Construction Code and Australian Standards
• Experience using electrical estimating software - SimPRO is a bonus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be attending site and tender meetings
