A well-established Principal UG miner is looking for a mining engineer with 3+ years' experience, and who has completed their UG time to join their team immediately in country Victoria.

The Mine Site

This underground hard rock mine runs on a 5:2 residential roster and is located only minutes from town. The town boasts easy access to many of Victoria's highlights, including wineries, national parks, historic mining towns and more.

Role

Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer/Technical Services Manager your role as a mining engineer will include but not be limited to;-

• Stope designs
• Stope reconciliations
• Drilling, blasting sequence and backfill method incorporated in stope design
• Drilling planned well in advance of stoping fronts
• Drilling optimisation to achieve efficient tonnes/metreage
• Planning duties as required

Your Experience & Value

• Tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3+ years recent underground hard rock mining experience
• Experienced with underground mining software - Deswik, Surpac and Mine2-4D preferable and highly regarded
• Ug time completed and ready to hit the ground running
