The Project

This site is a large underground hard rock mine located near Cobar and is developed on a local well-connected workforce who reside in Cobar. Some of the benefits the site offers are; -

• Opportunity to DIDO with one bedroom fully furnished apartments provided

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of experienced HD Fitters and Auto Electricians. Your duties will be varied and involve both workshop and field maintenance duties including; -

• Workshop - servicing, scheduled maintenance, PM work and major component changeouts
• Field - breakdowns, fault-finding and diagnostics as well as field-based servicing

Your Value

Your 2+ years recent experience working in an UG hard rock mine or being a qualified and experienced open cut/ civil plant maintenance fitter. You will also;-

• Trade qualified as a heavy diesel/ vehicle mechanic (or LV with relevant experience)
• Experienced in the field and workshop working on earthmoving equipment
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Excellent safety standards
• Looking for a long-term role
