The Mine site:

Based in central NSW, this large hardrock mine site has recently expanded its underground operations. The underground operations division offers:

• 2:2 roster (7days, 7nights, 14 off) - 12 hour days
• On the job training and development
• Join this well-known contractor at the start of a new project
• Camp style accommodation 25 minutes from site with buffet style meals
• Shuttle bus provided to and from site to camp

The Role:

You will enjoy working in a team of specialist operators working on a ground support mining contract. As a Shotcrete Sprayer your duties will include:

• Operating Normet Spraymec and agitator trucks to apply shotcrete to underground walls, backs and intersections while working closely with ground support crews to ensure safe, compliant ground stabilisation and equipment maintenance in challenging UG mining environments.
• Working to KPI's per shift and per swing
• Adhering to safety processes and protocols on site
• Working in a team and autonomously
• Manual handing where needed

Your Skills and Experience:

You will come from a background working as a Shotcreter working within the underground hardrock mining space. You will also have the following skills and experience:

• Unrestricted driver's license (ability to drive manual vehicles)
• Previous experience operating or Normet spraymecs
• Highly reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance & pass a pre-employment medical

Contract and Salary:

Marble is partnered with this underground mining contractor to supply long term employees to the site. The opportunity exists to join the company on an initial 6-month contract through Marble and transition over to the clients' books after a short probation period (depending on performance and availability).

• Casual rates between $60ph - $72ph + super
• Weekly pay cycles whilst working through Marble
