DIDO / Relocation Options

This role is ideal for candidates based in Victoria or those open to relocating to Ballarat long-term.

• Residential/DIDO role - be home every night
• Relocation assistance available for suitable candidates

• Ideal for candidates wanting to move away from FIFO the lifestyle

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will join the underground maintenance team working mainly across drill rigs

Duties will include:

• Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Breakdown repairs and diagnostics underground
• Hydraulic and mechanical fault finding
• Component change-outs and repairs
• Supporting overall fleet reliability and maintenance standards

Equipment

Sandvik underground production drills and ancillary UG mining equipment.

Your Value

This role is best suited to experienced underground fitters with strong drill and mobile plant experience.

You will bring:

• Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanical trade qualification
• Previous underground mining experience
• Experience working on underground drill rigs (Sandvik highly regarded)
• Strong hydraulic and diagnostic fault-finding skills
• Ability to work autonomously underground
• Strong commitment towards safety and teamwork
