Pump Fitter - Underground Gold Mine | FIFO WA or Goldfields DIDO
Join a leading underground mining contractor at a well-established gold operation. This is a long-term FIFO opportunity offering strong job security, excellent camp facilities, and the chance to build your career in underground hard rock mining.
This role suits a mechanically minded tradesperson from a pump, mechanical, diesel, or piping background looking to step into (or grow within) the mining sector.
Key Duties
- Service, repair, and maintenance of slurry, mono, and helical rotor pump systems
- Maintain pipework and pumping infrastructure across site
- Work across surface workshop and underground service bays
- Collaborate closely with the Pump Fitter on opposing shift
Requirements
- Mechanical Fitting Trade Certificate (essential)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (essential)
- Currently based in Perth or Kalgoorlie / Goldfields region
- Strong safety mindset and team-first attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop in underground mining
