Estimator – Large Tier 3 Commercial Builder

We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join a long standing Tier 3 Builder in VIC, tendering for projects up to $30m.

Our Client, a Mid-Tier Commercial Builder, has a newly created opportunity for a highly skilled Estimator to jump on board and complete their team. With a diverse range of projects ranging up to $50m in value under their belt, you will be a key part of their ongoing success in the VIC market.

The role:

• Assist and play an integral part in the growth of the business
• Prepare and coordinate tender submissions & documentation
• Proactively follow-up and maintain communication with clients and subcontractors
• Provide competitive but profitable cost estimates
• Carry out quantity take off's or produce estimates based on bill of quantities

Your Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Construction Management & Economics/Quantity Surveying/Diploma in Construction
• Previous Estimating experience on commercial projects up to $30m is essential
• Must have previous EOI and tender submission involvement
• VIC based experience & ability to develop key relationships with clients & subcontractors
• Able to estimate from first principles and can provide effective cost saving methods
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic in a team environment
