This up-and-coming boutique home builder is looking to bring on a strong Contracts Admin to join their growing Brisbane team.
Focusing on high-end, architecturally designed homes and multi-res projects, the company has a strong pipeline of work set to see out 2022.

Due to the volume of upcoming projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an efficient and organised Contracts Administrator to join the fast-paced office. Working closely with the company directors, you will become a crucial team member as the builder continues to secure themselves in the Queensland market.

Looking for a go-getter and someone who is keen to get stuck into this developing business, this role will be multi-facetted and will offer a variety of tasks on a daily basis.

Previous experience with residential contract administration in the will be highly considered.

The Role:

  • Producing, preparing and review Contracts, Subcontractor Packages, Scopes, Lettings and Procurement schedules
  • Administering RFI's to clients, architects, and consultants
  • Processing progress claims, variations, and invoices
  • Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual WHS requirements
  • Ensure all inspections, certificates & relevant documentation is signed off
  • Complete Colour Selection and Electrical Appointments with assigned customers
  • Organise contracts, process quotes & update variations
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and rates
  • Arrange all pre-site documentation and certifications
  • Follow up Contract Documentation, Excess Payments, etc
  • Communications with local Councils
  • Work closely with estimators, supervisors & team
  • Liaising with Consultants (Engineers, Architects, Town Planners)
  • Communicate effectively with attention to detail, both written and verbal
  • Support other staff in the site and company team
  • Experience with office-based finances including A/R, A/P and Payroll

About You:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in Residential construction is must
  • Excellent knowledge of QBCC contracts
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in construction, estimating or quantity surveying
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
